Discussion 2 : Inside the mind of a master procrastinator
Q1 : Do you procrastinate sometimes?
A1 : I think so. Sometimes I think I'm a procrastinator. Procrastination sneaks up on us all and none of us are immune.
Q2 : What are some of the things you procrastinate on?
A2 : Heaps...exam preparation, write a paper, do homework or housework. Lots of things that you have to concentrate on.
Q3 : What are some reasons for procrastination?
A3 : People who have a lot on their plate that have a lots of things that they need to juggle. It means they have to be analytical and thinker by nature, and procrastination is a form of stress relief.
Q4 : What are some strategies you can use to combat your procrastination?
A4 : Well, I think set meaningful goals and create an action plan to actually achieve them might be helpful. The first and most important part of the process of setting goals is to set goals that matter to you. That's a critical step. I'm foreseeing start with small things, just like work for just five minutes. Secondly, find the right time. Pay attention to when you work the best and try to do your most procrastination things.
Find the right time which means you can do things more effective. You have a great idea.
